GAHHH NEVERMIND I JUST CALLED THE DEALER AND IT'S SOLD

Not sure why I have so many Land Cruiser 80 (and Lexus LX 450) options near me for cheap, but apparently I do.

Today's find is a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , the dealer is asking $4500.

This is from a dealer here in the Madison area—a little outside of town but not a ~75 mile drive down to Rockford, IL like that !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .

This Land Cruiser has a couple more rust spots and a bit more mileage (207k vs 193k so ehhh not really much difference) than yesterday's option, but the factory locking diffs certainly are appealing. It also looks like it has almost new Michelin LTX M/S tires which are pretty ideal for Wisconsin winter.

The Lexus has less rust (although !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) and a couple more luxo features like power adjustable steering wheel, auto climate control, and a nicer stereo.

Since the Land Cruiser's here in town though, I'm gonna check it out tonight.

More pics of the Land Cruiser:

I was considering these before I bought my Discovery, very very nice trucks, very smooth too.

Nitrogen in the tires too? looks to be a very cared for truck!

Looks great and that's a pretty fair price, mine (97 with lockers) cost more and has more miles, but no rust and the interior is in better shape. Make sure to check the coolant color and get all the history you can. Also, check the knuckles, ask about the head gasket and heater hose.

I know all big SUV's are heavy, but this thing looks like it weighs a boat load.

lighter than you would think. 4800 lbs. Granted that's not svelte, but its only 200 lbs heavier than a 2wd 4 cylinder ford explorer. The power to weight on these blows though.
